1. Responsible for supervising the operation of equipment and providing necessary technical support; oversee the implementation of the annual maintenance plan for ships; manage ship repair arrangements and onshore service providers' technical services, ensuring the quality of both repairs and technical services, and managing repairers and service providers;
2. Responsible for the inspection and servicing of equipment; manage the fuel and lubricating oil of ships; participate in the investigation and handling of ship accidents; responsible for formulating and controlling the annual budget for ship machinery affairs;
3. Complete other tasks as assigned by superiors.
1. A bachelor's degree or above in marine engineering or a related field is required.
2. At least two years of experience as a mechanical affairs manager on oil and chemical vessels in other companies, along with over two years of experience as a chief engineer on the types of ships and in the navigation areas managed.
3. Extensive experience with SIRE/CDI/PSC inspections; familiarity with TMSA audits; proficiency in the company's SMS system; knowledge of maritime laws, regulations, conventions, and rules; expertise in ship and equipment maintenance requirements and regulations, capable of performing onboard safety inspections and completing required safety inspection reports.
4. Proficient in ship inspection, repair procedures, and related requirements; understanding of ship certificates; familiarity with ship fuel, lubricants, spare parts, materials supply, usage, and management regulations.
5. Strong communication and coordination skills, risk awareness, emergency response capabilities, and cost consciousness.
6. Oral and written proficiency in both Chinese and English to meet the requirements for normal work communications, such as interviewing crew members, ship repair inspections, and external examinations.
